On Tuesday, January 24, 2017, the Pope County Sheriff’s Office served felony warrants for Aggravated Robbery. The three suspects were arrested and charged with the crime of robbing the Dollar General Store in the Gumlog community on September 27, 2016. After an extensive investigation spanning several months, Lead Investigator Chris Ridenhour was able to identify three suspects and obtain the felony warrants. The three suspects are identified as Treyton Johnson 22 of Crossett, Arkansas; Stacey Cox 22 of Crossett, Arkansas; Joseph Aikens, 20 of Russellville. The three are currently incarcerated and awaiting the filing of formal charges. Sheriff Jones would like to thank the Pope County CID, as well as Russellville Police Department for their unified efforts in affecting the arrests of these individuals. |
