PRESS RELEASE Investigators with the Pope County Sheriff’s Office recently received a report of a possible sexual assault that occurred when the now adult female was between 3 years old and 12 years old. After conducting their investigation, investigators arrested 45 year old Ronnie Lyn Gipson on December 13, 2017 and charged him with Rape. During a December 15, 2017 bond hearing Gipson’s bond was set at $500,000.00. He is scheduled to appear in Pope County Circuit Court on January 22, 2018. No further information is available at this time.
